Overview
Alundra is an action-adventure game with RPG elements that was released for the Sony PlayStation in 1997. The game was developed by the Japanese developer Matrix Software and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in Japan.
The original version was released on April 11, 1997, under the title Alundra. The North American version was localized by Working Designs and released in January 1998. In Europe, the game was released on June 5, 1998, under the title The Adventures of Alundra and published by Psygnosis.
The game is a single-player action-adventure featuring world exploration, combat, platforming, and puzzle solving. A sequel, Alundra 2, was released in 2000. Despite sharing the name and some gameplay elements, Alundra 2 has no connection to the story and setting of the original game.
